I want my pf balance on2644 of pf number.
ReplyDeletethis is time of 1993
Sorry - I do not understand the question. Anyways, pf account balance can only be found out by the account holder. So, you need to either talk to your employer or contact the regional pf office to find it out.
Deletehi anand , u r doing a great job !!! thanks for ur efforts!!! i am planning to put money of 3000/month in NPS through hdfc life ? what is your suggestion? Expected rate of return?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - There is very little info here for me to suggest or advise an expected rate of return. HDFC is a good fund house and their fund managers are very capable. The % return you get will depend on the combination of Equity + Safe investments you choose.
DeleteNPS is a good scheme as such with very low expense ratios and fees and hence is a good start towards retirement planning.
Hi Anand,
ReplyDeleteWhat's the best investment option is? I mean in any Life Ins or anything?
The term best is subjective to who you are and what is your risk appetite. And by the way Life Insurance is not an Investment.

Dear Sir,
ReplyDeleteI have worked under a MNC from 22/09/2008 to 31/03/2016.
Total duration of service 7 Years 6 Months 10 Days.
Out of which First 2 Years was in the Training Period & rest of the 5 Years 6 Months 10 Days are treated as a main service.
Though EPF & EPS amount deducted throughout my service.
First 2 Year Training Period's PF & EPS is under EPFO and Rest of the 5 Years 6 Months 10 Days PF & EPS is in the Company's PF Trust.
I'm also having separate PF No. for the same.
My Question is Can I transfer my training Periods PF account which lies with the EPFO to the PF account which was under the Trust?
If Yes then Can I withdraw only the EPS money after merging both the accounts?
(Since total duration of the service after merging both the account will be 7 Years 6 Months 10 Days)
Please guide me to the correct Way...
Regards
Debmalya Mukherjee
Yes, it can be transferred and yes you can withdraw both the PF and EPS money.
